About the role
We are looking for a Sales Director for the DACH region, who is responsible for committing and growing customer business within the territory, at the right price and terms, at the highest velocity possible. Your starting point are the SQLs generated by Marketing and SDR colleagues, as well as cross-sell opportunities with existing customers spotted by Customer Success Management.

What you will do
Together with Marketing and SDR you will shape your own territory sales plan to meet your MRR growth and logo count goals, and turn it into action. Important in this is that at Ginger we believe that ‘prescription before diagnosis is malpractice’. Our experience is that customers don’t care about features, they care about figuring out whether we can really help them add value to their business and strategies. Therefore, based on the leads generated and nurtured by Marketing, Sales Development and yourself, you run Discovery workshops to inspire, ideate and define objectives, requirements and expected outcomes. You focus on what they are looking to solve, understanding their pain and what makes their situation unique. Based on that you offer a prescription of the Ginger Payments solution components they need. With effective stakeholder management you help them evaluate the trade-offs between our offering and that of (if any) our competitors. For large and complex accounts these workshops are supported by Ginger Customer Success Management, Technology Support and/or Executive Sponsors.
